S37 SOGG Seal Team Knife - The SOG Seal Team Knife is a fixed blade survival knife that was formerlly known at the SOG Seal 2000.  These fixed blade knives are uniquely designed and work great as tactical knives or survival knives - The SOG Seal Team knife feature a 7.00 in. blade of AUS6 stainless steel, powder coated, and a 5.25 in. black handle. Comes with black groove sheath which allows rope/line to be cut without unsheathing the knife. The SEALs are one of the most specialized elite military groups in the world today. SEALs must undergo one of the most rigorous training programs devised to produce the consummate warrior. Only a select few endure and earn the right to wear the SEAL Trident on their uniform. The SEAL Team knife evaluation program included: tip breaking stress, blade breaking limit, sharpness, edge retention, handle twist off force, two week salt water immersion tests, gasoline and acetylene torch resistance, chopping, hammering, prying, penetration tests, cutting six different types of rope and line, plus an intense hands-on competition in the field.
