In 1910 Joseph Gerber started Gerber Advertising in Portland, Oregon. That is right. The founder of Gerber knives was in advertising before starting Gerber Knives. He hired a local knife maker to maker to make 25 kitchen cutlery sets as Christmas presents for clients. These knives were so popular that Joseph Gerber left his advertising agency and started Gerber Knives in 1939. Gerber knives has a history of ingenuity, craftsmanship and attention to detail. This history has hoisted Gerber knives to a standard that is respected around the world. Gerber Legendary blades was not satisfied with only producing quality Gerber knives. Gerber knives now come in hunting, survival, and tactical styles. There is the Gerber multi-tool, and Gerber knives for diving. Gerber knives is now making LED lights, tools and hydration packs. Gerber knives also led the market by using technologies and materials that until then had normally been found in custom or premium knives. Some examples of the Gerber knives leadership are injection molded Hytrel handles, Kraton rubber on handles, using ATS34 and AUS8 high carbon stainless steels and titanium nitride coating. Cold Steel Double Agent II Knife
Cold Steel’s new Double Agent® neck knives possess a significant set of advantages worth noting. Designed by Zach Whitson, with either a Karambit or Clip Point blade style, they’re thin, flat, and super light (a little over 3 ounces including sheath). This makes them easy to conceal and very comfortable to wear. Their most audacious and notable feature, however, is their double ring handle design. Slip an index finger through the front ring nearest the blade and your pinky finger through the rear ring and close your fist to obtain a forward grip and vice versa for a reverse grip. It doesn’t matter how hard you cut, chop, hack, hammer or thrust with the Double Agent®. Its twin rings will always prevent your hand from sliding forward on the razor sharp edge and will likewise resist the effects of centrifugal force or the efforts of an adversary to wrest the Double Agent® from your grasp. Cold Steel Double Agent II. 7 1/2" overall. 3 1/4" AUS-8A stainless clip blade. Full tang construction with two finger holes. Black Grivory handle grips. Molded black Secure-Ex® sheath. Includes neck chain. Cold Steel Double Agent II Knife Specifications: |
